Rachel has always been a good sleeper, from the very beginning. In fact, the second night we were home as a family we woke up panicked because she had slept for 6 1/2 hours! She was just fine, a little upset for waking her up! Now before all you moms out there who have many sleepless nights get mad...we had other problems to deal with. With Amy's sickness for the first 8 months we had our plate full. We are strong believers that God will never give you anymore than you can handle, and sleepless nights would have just pushed us over the edge. Overall she's been sleeping through the night, although we've certainly dealt with weeks here and there when she cries going to bed or wakes up crying in the middle of the night. At the moment she's doing great, going to bed without any tears and sleeping for a good 12-13 hrs.
We love our family time as she winds down and drinks her milk. She is very affectionate and loves sitting or playing with us.
